JoinPrerequisites for BSD
What are the prerequisites required for BSD? I tried searching this on Seneca's website but couldn't find anything.
I've got 5 months till my course starts. Is there anything else I can do in this time that would make college easier for me later on?...
ask for choice
Hello everyone, I am currently a seneca CPP student, a new student in Canada and I will graduate from 2 years program at the end of this year. I want to get a bachelor degree after this, however I don’t know should I get a bsd in seneca or I should applied for a cs in university. I finished my high school diploma outside canada and I see most of university are required MHF4U*
4U math (MCV4U recommended), I assume I don’t have these things so that is it better stay in seneca and finish bsd or should I do MHF4U* 4U math (MCV4U recommended) and try to apply for university?
I don’t have too much budget and I wanna be graduate from bachelor degree asap and find a decent job to feed myself rather than working all day for 15 bucks in restaurant Anyone have any opinions or suggestions, pls tell me and I will really appreciate...

Course,
(not sure what the corresponding forum channel is so here. Pardòn)
Hello all you discord bots masquerading as students. I have recently applied to this course, although I already work in the industry ( 3 years, Full stack). I am one of those career changers self taught guys, so looking into clearing out some comp sci basics.
What sort of technologies are being covered generally in the course ? ( I see C and C++ but I learnt never to trust what's written on college websites from my last degree)
Is it theoretically hefty or there are projects going making some real stuff ( I don't know using C or Cpp for graphics, games etc)

4 Courses and Full time work
Hello, I am a mature student starting the program on September. I am planning to take 4 classes and hopefully work full time from 8 to 5. I have read that some folks have done it while some quit the work to study full time. From anyone who finished first couple semesters, would you recommend it? Does the class schedule even allow daytime work? I know it will be really tough and wont have any free time. But is it possible? I need to keep food on the table and prices are crazy out here.
Help with preparation for CPP in September
Hi. I am currently a beginner in coding and applied for Computer Programming (CPP) for the September semester. I am wondering if there is anything to prepare beforehand? Currently I am learning from free online sites (freecodecamp, Codecademy, etc.) to get an idea of what coding is, and finding out what math level to study on from the math assessment tests.
Help me out?
Why do I get this error in Visual studio but not when i try to run the code on an online C compiler, I even tried submitting my code through Matrix and it works completely fine. Can anyone help me out?
linux kernel development roadmap
sorry for asking too much question, i does anyone have a good roadmap to be a kernel development.
Is selecting BSD instead of CPA a mistake?
I've recieved the offer letter from Seneca for winter intake for the BSD program.
I've got a few questions...

After my coop term is over should I finish my program or look into full time work?
I already have a bachelors of science in statistics, but I don't like the idea of just leaving the work I put into the CPA program to just be unfinished. Originally my plan was to either hope my co-op work term offers me a full time offer or I just start applying elsewhere for a full time position. If I decide to finish my diploma, my plan is to transfer into the CPP program and finish my 4th semester in the fall and then apply for full time jobs. Which one do you think is better?
Full-Time vs. Part-Time delivery for CPA
Hello everyone, so the Autumn schedule for the part-time intake of the Computer Programming & Analysis 3yr program is finally up. I work a standard Monday - Friday full-time job with benefits, and a short commute from my home. My schedule is fixed, and I get off the clock at 4:00pm. I don't have to take home my work 95% of the time, so I essentially have my evenings, nights, and weekends totally OFF to do what I want on my personal time... Besides external interests, investments, obligations, and hobbies, I pretty much have the liberty to be enroled in school during the evenings and/or weekends.
Would part-time studies for the CPA program be better for me, if I take 3 classes each semester non-stop year round (No summer breaks)?
Is there less of quality in teaching withint the part-time delivery when compared to the full-time delivery?...
Can anyone help me out with this question? All my mates are getting diff answers so idek anymore.
If a variable counting seconds is stored in a signed long 32-bit integer, how many days will it take until that integer overflows? (to one decimal place).
Anyone have any Tutors that they recommend?
Hi I feel like I am struggling a bit with my school work and understanding all the concepts. I dont really know where to find a good tutor or someone who is willing to tutor me. If anyone can recommend me to someone that would be amazing! Thank you
CPA program or Business Admin - Marketing program to bridge into Seneca's Data Science degree?
So upon reviewing the Honours Bacehlor of Data Science & Analytics (DSA), I see there are two pathways that can be taken to get into the degree program in semester 5. You can either complete the Seneca Computer Programming and Analysis (CPA), or do the Business Admin - Marketing (BAO) program. You need a minimum 3.0 GPA to be considered. Both programs offer co-op.
Now it would be fair to say that the Businss program would be easy AF vs. the CPA program, especially for those not coming from a technical background. It would be an easy GPA booster with courses in business development, data management, finance, and marketing studies. Pretty much a guaruntee into the DSA degree unless you're lazy AF. The end goal is the degree, and I noticed some of the courses in the DSA degree are geared towards Data Management, and Business Intelligence. The BAO does have an introductory course into statistical analysis and Database Administration as well. I would have to learn programming independently on my own time.
Now alternatively, I see the benefit of having a solid foundational start with CPA when it comes to in depth study and training into programming. C, Java, C++, ASP.NET and Scripting. It would be challenging but benefical to know. It will make grasping Data Science much easier. ...

Question about convocation
Hi fellas, I have a question about convocation. I completed my studies at the beginning of this year and after graduation, Seneca sent me a paper diploma by mail, which I have already received. But I still didn’t understand what Seneca would give me on convocation? Another copy of the diploma or something else? Thanks in advance peeps❤️
