Import settings to a different server

I want to import my settings to a different server so I don't need to enter them manually (I know the channel settings like announcement channels won't work but I think others will)

General questions around Kiai

Hey hey! I was told to open a support ticket. Sorry for the butt ton of questions!! Looking to replace mee6 (I know) The server id need to migrate info from is 50k people. with around 20 different levels. (with the hopes to bring levels to the other server i run with 370k members) How long would it take to transfer the info? And would the import include the roles too? I see there is no dash currently are their plans to make one? Looking at the doc page, whats included in premium and how much is it? Some commands are open to the public, is there a way to customise this?...

@net-tech- The lead developer would have to answer this question for you. I'm pretty sure we pull from Mee6's API, so we'd just be rate-limited by whatever they have in place, but I'm not certain on that one.

Yes! Whenever you go to import, you can select what you wish to import (see the image). As for the dashboard, the team's actively working on one, and we've had beta testing happen already, but we don't currently have an exact ETA....

Level up messages not sending at all

Hii, so I recently added kiai to my server and everything’s set up. The xp works, leaderboard works, custom message is set. But it’s not actually sending the level up message- I’ve checked the leaderboard and I have been levelling up. How do I fix this? Thank you

[KIAI-357] Time in VC Jump

Hello! I recently set up the bot in my server, a member leveled up and went straight from level 22 to level 71. I'm not server what happened.

Nickname function not working well

Hey, I already asked this in the chat. My level up nickname function changes back the nicknames of people in the server back to the default name. If I set my server nickname to Breadlover it would always change it back to altenais or a! (my displayname here)....

Solution:

Yeah so the reason we don't have server nicknames is bc the bot doesn't know how to handle them after the first time For example, if the nickname format is set to:

[{user.level}] {user.displayName}

[{user.level}] {user.displayName}

[KIAI-361] Trouble with Role Rewards

I finished setting up the role rewards, then i did a sync, the roles that were given doesn't match the current level that user has. Larena(39) were given a role for level 87, and this happens to multiple users. Stacked roles is disabled, i used a custom formula....

I did a test just now, it seems the issue is with the custom formula i used...

How to assign role rewards?

So I have the bot set up, but now I’m overwhelmed and second guessing myself on how exactly to assign the roles? For content: I have SFW and NSFW categories. One of the rewards is at Level 15, they can now use the Bot Category, but that category is only for verified people and what would be “Level 15”+ individuals. ...

Trouble importing XP and Settings from Csv. file

Hello, I'm trying to import my settings and levels for my server members but kiai bot reports back a data format error.. Bot I'd like to import data from: XP Bot. I've tried it with a csv file but it didn't work. Thank you for help :)...

XP required to reach levels?

Hi, is it possible to change the amount of XP required to reach a certain level?

👋 Hey there! Under Settings and then Message XP, you can change the XP formula. So, to answer your question, there’s no direct way to set specific levels like “Level 1 needs 200 XP” or “Level 2 needs 400 XP.” However, you are able to customize the formula to meet your needs.

Premium or Partner?

A long time ago, I reached out wondering if there was a way to partner with Buape/Kiai in some meaningful way that relieves some of the financial pressure from purchasing premium, and I was wondering if you guys had revisited that all? My server is discord.gg/owu; we're a Partner server w/ ~9,000 members. I want to add Kiai to the server (and have for a while), but without premium it's hard to justify due to the non-ephemeral leaderboards that would clog up a chat (or require a separate channel)...

Hey. It appears the setting is actually changing, it’s just erroring while attempting to display a result. I am unable to reproduce this. Could you run it again so I can capture the log? Tell me the timestamp of when it was executed.

Kiai is messaging level up message in random channels how to make it only msg in 1 channel only of all

remove previous level role

hello, im having a bit trouble with this... is it possible for the bot to remove previous level roles? i.e you hit level 5 and it gives you the level 5 role, is it possible for it to remove the previous one?

In the /settings there is an option to stack reward roles that you can disable

Importing Atlas Data/XP

Getting error when syncing leaderboard roles

When trying to sync my roles, the bot responds with an error. Is there anything I can do about this?
