can i change how often i get xp when i send messages

How can i change time between i get next xp from messages

this is not configurable at this time. all you can do is change how much xp members get using multipliers

I followed all the steps on the website and got this message back.. I was importing from MEE6... How can I fix this

as the message suggests, seems your leaderboard on mee6 is set to private, meaning the bot cannot access it

Lurkr stopped

Hi, so we have a channel where Lurkr announces every level ups, it stopped announcing them a few days ago but people are still getting exp, so we are not sure why it’s not announcing levels anymore, I also made sure it had the permissions in the channel and we tried restarting, we checked the dashboard and everything seems fine. How do we fix this?

Solution:

Usually its the permissions that prevent Lurkr from sending messages, it might have been the case that one of your admins inadvertedly changed the permissions at some point

Can i clone my already existing lurkr setup from my current server to another? with all my roles and stuff being imported across to my second server?

https://discord.com/channels/705009450855039039/1248303525864276039/1248304306344562708 I saw this, but I do have a question because we've been looking for another XP bot for a while after Polaris (the xp bot we use) was announced to be discontinued. At least 4-5k members with a fair amount of xp (over 14k total members) and I have the xp file in a .json, but the format is just user id and xp. It'd be really labour intensive to convert it. We could roll clean, because that's the only other option we have it seems. We haven't gotten around to inviting the bot yet as we're still looking at bots but this was one of the more promising ones that we've seen. Image attached is just for reference of scale....

its not exactly what you're asking, but you can reduce the amount of xp members get by using a global multiplier

Bot could not find any of the roles provided when setting Leveling Role Rewards

I have tried looking through the support website and I found nothing about this. When I use /config set [option] Setup Leveling Role Rewards [values] (and then the leveling role 1) , it does the popup "The level that will receive the roles". When I put in "1" (which is level I want the role given to), it "Could not find any of the roles provided." I don't know how to fix this.

that likely means lurkr doesnt have permission to manage that role

No, slash commands are a Discord feature it's not something we can change

possible to upload images to rank profile cards? or have the corresponding role icon appear there?

I have different role icons for each of my planned ranks. Is it possible to have those same images appear on the rank profile card at all, preferably at a higher resolution than the role icons?

The rank profile card currently doesn't display role rewards so this would be more of a #suggestions

Role Rewards on leaderboard are sorted alphabetically instead of numerically per level

Not all users receiving experience

Hello 🙂 So, I recently put this bot onto a server. If I take a look at the leaderboard, there are only 17 users that have so far written messages. But I am 100% sure, that more than just 17 users have written messages. The bot somehow doesnt keep up, it hasnt really updated in the last hour at all tbh. It just looks like it doesnt change to the level it should have changed....

Role Mention cooldown doesn't seem to be working

I have set the specific role to 30min and have asked a member with no permissions to test it, yet they could ping the role twice within 1min

DO lvl roles only get added after being added to dashboard?

If i was to add a role reward for hitting lvl 5 now do all previous lvl 5 and up users get that role or only the new people that hit lvl 5?

All role rewards are resynced when users level up or when you run the /syncrolerewards command on them

Error when saving Level Up Message Embed settings

I can't use the dashboard to add an embedded level message as every time i do i get this error.

both the avatar icon and author url aren't using URL placeholders

Can I decrease someone's xp gaining rate?

I have some people breaking their phrases in different messages to level up faster. i want them to level up slower than others 💀 so, is it possible?

Solution:

Levels are only counted every minute of someone talking, it shouldn't really affect it that much
