Question regarding multipliers hierarchy

Since i got muted in #discussion for sending this there so i am asking here. I understand the role and channel hierarchy, but I want to know whether the multipliers stack together or if only the highest multiplier applies in case multipliers are set on both, channels and roles. For example, let’s say the global multiplier is set to x1, so you get 50 XP for 1 message. Channel A has a multiplier of x2. Role A has a multiplier of x3. A regular member without Role A would get 100 XP in Channel A.A member with Role A would get 150 XP in channels other than Channel A. How much XP will a member with Role A get in Channel A? Will it be x3 because that’s the highest multiplier between channel and role, or will the channel and role multipliers stack together, making it x5 times of XP resulting in gaining 250 XP?
Solution:
different multiplier types stack, so it would be global_multiplier * channel_multiplier * role_multiplier * xp

we'll be adding an option at some point to configure this behaviour.

but the documentation states that "Whenever applicable, the highest multiplier will always be used!" for global and channel multipliers?

Hello, there's also another question I'd like to ask here. Who have the permissions to add/remove xp to users? and can the perms to do it be changed? there are commands related to level add/set/remove but not xp in the docs, does it also require manage server perms?

You can control who can use Lurkr's Slash Commands in your Server Settings, under the Integrations tab > Lurkr. You can learn more about that this in the Discord blog: https://discord.com/blog/slash-commands-permissions-discord-apps-bots
