d³s hybridization in Coordination Compounds
If asked for the hybridization of any of these compounds below, should I mention sp³ or d³s? D-block chapter mentions nothing about this for KMnO4 even.
Hydrocarbons, Saytzeff/Hofmann product
The answer is Hofmann product here even though the base is small. I assume its because N(CH3)3 is a poor LG?
* Is N(CH3)3+ a poor leaving group? Why/why not?
* If it is, what decides whether 'small base' dominates or 'poor LG' dominates?...
Integration and limits
My approach was writing it as $\frac{\int_{x}^{2x}{\frac{sin^{m}(x)}{x^{n}}}}{x} \cdot x$ and then approximating the fraction thing to derivative of integral of $\frac{sin^{m}(x)}{x^{n}}$ which is that function itself, but unable to go on from there.

How to draw all reso struc for this? More imp, how can we tell number of reso struc of this without drawing all?
