Why doesn't addition of inert gas at constant volume shift the rxn towards one direction
When adding an inert gas in a closed vessel , the total volume is constant so the total pressure has to increase. But change in total pressure should shift the rxn towards one end (if delta Ng isnt zero) But that doesnt happen. Please help me understand why this is the case

Pnc Diagonals of a polygon
Hi I was doing pnc and the question was to find no. of diagonals of a polygon with n sides. I thought that since we take a vertex, and form a line with any other vertex except the 2 vertices adjacent to the first one, it should be (n-2)C2 But my sir said it would be nC2-n, which I agree with and know my method was wrong but dont how it was wrong Can somebody please point out the flaw in my logic cuz I cant find it

Will a reaction still be considered at equillibrium if the rate of forward is significantly more
Lets say we have a reaction in which we have a ton of product of which has slow rate of going backwards and a small amount of reactant with a fast rate of forward. The amount of product formation is equal to amount of reactant formed per unit time and the whole system is at balance. Will it still be considered equillibrium?

hello I have a discussion to make we know total momentum of a single system in conserved as in every reaction has an equal and opposite reaction the thing why I dont understand is why does the doing work take energy if force is gonna get transferred back to me anyways

why is Dz^2 orbital filled first in sp3d hybridization
Not just this, my teacher told me there is a specific order for just d orbitals where dz2, then dx2-y2, then dxy orbital gets hybridized. I am confused as to why is this (I can understand for first 2 cuz they are diff but why dxy before dzy or dxz)
