a 95 mass percent solution of ethanol is further diluted with water if the mole fraction of ethanol in dillute solution is 0.25 what is the mole fraction of water in the dilute solution is it still an ideal solution dude what is going on in this question

ye so do this assume 100g soln 95 gram ethanol then 5g water calculate moles for both now moles of ethanol will remain same on dilutio calc new moles of water for 0.25 ethanol wait wtf molefraction of water in dilution shouldnt it be 0.75

wait ans is in last part only but i dont think this is what they inteded to ask as per the question u typed mole fraction of ethanol + mf of water = 1 so mf of water in dilute soln = 0.75 i assume they wanted to know mf of water before dilution but ye as it is ans should 0.75
