Hey guys, I currently connect to a VPN to access work stuff. The VPN we use is a 3rd party (Big IP Client or something like that). My company allows people to go out of the country internationally if needed (not usually allowed) and we also have some offices internationally.
I want to travel internationally but also work. I've already been doing it for some time. If it's a 3rd party VPN we use, does my company have the access to check those logs? They give us a list of countries we CANT go to so as long as you're not there, the VPN will work.
How possible is it to connect to a VPN before connecting to the VPN? Is this a viable solution to be 100% safe?...

@blade Okay, to be fair (and to get the green check mark)
career coaching is like having a person keep track of your goals and take an outsiders view of your situation in order to give you feedback and reduce second guessing. It also puts in a scheduled check on your performance, like a manager would, but with difference incentives.
One advantage of a coach is they may have a stable of client in the same industry, if they specialize, so if you have questions that others have had, they can share what's worked and what hasn't worked. They can also share what trends they are currently seeing and could be a source of market intelligence....

Solution:
In my experience, if a company is already willing to 1099, going C2C isn't much aof a change for them. They tend to just pay your LLC even with a DBA as "Your Name", but it's the same to them. They would just likely require you have liability insurance.
