Universal Works

Didn't see a thread for them, but they just released their new FW23. Curious to hear everyone's experience with their garments. https://universalworks.co.uk/

Wax London

They’ve got overshirts that’s for sure.

Solovair

UK-made leather boots and shoes company. Claims to be a former manufacturer of a portion of Doc Martens back in the 1950’s. Curious if anyone owns any of their shoes and how their products might hold up over time....

Billy Reid

What are the community’s thoughts on this brand? I’ve purchased some of their stuff with mixed results. Their shirting is pretty terrible usually, but when I can snag their outerwear on sale I find it’s pretty nice. I have a few chore coats and Tupelo truckers that I throw on when I’m going for a more low key but put together vibe in the fall.

Woolrich

reputable parka, what do you think?

Everlane

I got recommended by a friend this brand. They quoted it as being "A decent higher end brand that doesn't completely break the bank". Anyone have any thoughts? Particularly on their pants?

Lady White Co.

Ben Davis

California-based workwear brand I’ve seen around. Dickies, Carhartt adjacent style for sure. Very affordable (pants ~$50) Any one familiar? Don’t own any pieces myself but looking at their pants. In search of an NYC retailer I can try items on before I buy online....

French Crown

I've been seeing ads for these guys lately - Anyone have any thoughts on what they have to offer?

Banana Republic

Imo, worth it on sales if you can get it 50% off, though sometimes you get 70-80% off on clearance or discontinued styles. I like their poplin dress shirts, pima cotton t-shirts and some of their t-shirts/polos that are luxury-touch/soft-touch brand. And some of their jeans....

Jack Victor

I ran into a sport coat from Jack Victor online. Best I can tell, they’re Canadian, but is the construction any good?

Rowing Blazers

Curious to hear the thoughts and experience of the server on Rowing Blazers - especially with the upcoming Target collab. Many of the reviews say that the quality is good; but the brand often draws the ire of diehard traditionalists, and discussion of their actual garments are otherwise sparse....
