Looking for jackets with a specific collar type

Hi all, I'm looking for a jacket that has a collar that looks like an upturned suit lapel. Would anyone happen to know if there's a brand that offers this style? I'm also specifically looking for it to be in black. I'm not certain if this is the same as just taking a regular blazer with a lapel and flipping it out. Also, I'd like something that doesnt have elastic cuffs and waist ...

earrings

would it be okay to wear earrings along with a chain as someone who has silver braces?

Narrow belt with gold hardware

I'm trying to replace a vintage belt I have that is currently falling apart but I can't find anything with quite the same vibe. My criteria is: - Black leather, preferably with some shine and embossed with a croc or snakeskin effect. Patent leather can also potentially work - Less than 1" wide but more than 0.5" wide - Small/minimal gold-tone buckle. Preferably square but the shape is less important than not being bulky - Budget $200, around or under $100 preferred. Happy to buy secondhand...

looking for new commuting bag

I’m looking at messenger bags for a commuting bag. My biggest requirement is I’d like to have at least one water bottle pocket that can fit a 32 oz Nalgene (2 would be optimal but can make do if not). There’s a load of cool options out there but finding one with the water bottle pocket is proving difficult. I enjoy the look of this one especially but those side pockets look tiny https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/128897?itemId=520839&attrValue_0=Black&sku=1000200587&pla1=0&qs=3155267&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADoqq1IF1qCLqaxWZ8JlR3YkoxFXX&gclid=CjwKCAjw6JS3BhBAEiwAO9waF8w2lTaFqPISWc2AdOL6NfUYfcJjFOYjwbowPfUq9K84QSn_-1tP1BoC6HwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds...

French cuffs inside suit jacket -- too bulgy?

I had a custom suit made a while ago, and I want to wear it for my wedding. Since it's my wedding, it seems more appropriate to wear a shirt with French cuffs, but I didn't have a (non-tux) white shirt with French cuffs that fit well. So I had a couple made via Indochino, one with barrel cuffs and one with French cuffs. However, I feel like the French cuffs are maybe too big, and are stretching the suit jacket sleeves a bit. When I brought it to the Indochino tailor, they suggested unbuttoning the first sleeve button, which helps a little, but I'm not sure if that's appropriate for a formal occasion like a wedding. Attached are a few pictures with the French cuffs shirt, as well as a couple with the barrel cuffs shirt for comparison. (Note that the cufflinks are just placeholders -- if I wear this shirt, I'll probably pick out a better one.)...

What type of footwear for a date?

Background: late 30s male living in Canada. Budget: $300-400 CAD (max). I'm looking for some footwear that I could wear on a date to a restaurant, or an art gallery or museum, or something that is a little bit more formal than just a walk in the park. Something that could be paired with chinos and a tucked in shirt, with MAYBE a blazer on top of it (but probably not). I'm not talking about dress shoes that would go with a tie as I'm not aiming for that level of formality - I just want "the next step up" from sneakers so I don't look too casual. Would also like to be able to wear this footwear when out and about and trying to be a bit more classy than sneakers too. I'd REALLY like to be able to "try before I buy" or at least have free (or very affordable return) returns: I prioritize comfort in whatever I wear as I know if it feels uncomfortable I'll be looking for reasons to avoid it....

Tie color for my wedding suit

Hey everyone! Recently purchased my wedding suit, which is a lovely dark green (ignore the wrinkles, it was straight out of the shipping box). My groomsmen are in black suits with dark green ties. I was thinking of going with a champagne color for a tie, but was wondering what people think.

Cowboy Cut Alternatives

Hey all. I’m 6’1, 30 waist and 34 inseam. Just ordered and had to send back a pair of Wrangler 13MWZ Cowboy Cuts. Bought them in a 31 waist in order to get the 34 leg but this caused a build up of material in the seat/crotch of the jeans and it just looked a bit shit. Wondering if anyone has any vintage or modern alternatives they could suggest. Budget of about £60.

Chelsea boots with mint green - light or dark brown?

I'm looking to get a mint green linen suit (the left colour in this pic) and want to get some brown Chelsea boots to wear with it or with some blue jeans. Should I go for a light brown as something summery, or would a darker brown be better for this shade of mint?

does this work good a separate blazer, or does it look like an orphaned suit jacket?

Trying to figure out if there’s a point in getting a more casual navy blazer (patch pockets, gold buttons, swelled edges) Not sure if this jacket I have really works as a blazer or not...

Dressing well for my first time talking to a girl I like?

So, there's this girl in my uni class. I've been working up the courage to approach her for a few days now but I'm self conscious about my appearance. I'm a big dude, 6'1 270 lbs, former fit now chunky but not roly poly type fat. But since weight loss isn't a quick fix I'm trying to make up for that in other categories, mostly grooming and clothes. I have some nice clothes but I feel like a lot of them aren't exactly flattering or don't feel like something that would stick out to a girl necessarily. I wanna dress better then average but not in a tryhard way, more like I've shown that I care about how I look and put in effort. I'm on a budget so I usually get my clothes from Hudson's Bay or H&M. Any help is appreciated. Thanks...

Styling advice/Looking for UK shops to buy clothes in this style

Hello, I'm looking for some criticism/advice for this style. Also wondering if people have any good places to shop these kind of clothes in the UK? I don't really like spending money, so my budget is around the ASOS/Uniqlo level (but if I find something i really like then I'm willing to spend a bit more). Ideally I would prefer to shop in person so I can try the clothes on, but online is fine too. Thanks a lot

gifted black shirt - howto help

Hi, I got gifted a decent black shirt but no receipt for return or exchange. I attached a pic of it, and I can get it tailored to fit better. I read that keeping it casual is easier to make it work, but what options should I look at to salvage fits with it?...
