Gramicci
Yea I’ve dyed a couple of pairs now. If they’re the cotton ones it’s an easy job, rit back to black kit will do the job. Might need to do more than one dye bath to get a real black, often you’ll keep some undertones of the original color. Biggest thing to watch for is the stitching, it’s usually a synthetic and won’t dye so you’ll end up with some contrast stitching.

Same, bought in hard to the “minimalist merino T shirt two pairs of the same pants one bag digital nomad” philosophy ~2016-2019. I never had to think about what to wear but I never felt very happy with what I was wearing.

is it okay to wear US military shirts as a civilian?
The general rule of thumb is not to wear patterns currently in service. The NWU Type 1 was phased out in 2019 but that’s maybe a bit too recent to wear casually.

How do you know? - Topic of the day 2/7/24
My 3 part decision making process:
1. Does said advice giver post fits within the style I am looking for advice for
And/or
2. Do I like said persons fits
And/or
3. Does said advice generally track with my unconscious understanding of said topic (what does my tummy say)
Advice from givers who do not post fits is disregarded, unless it’s a compliment in which case thank you. This applies to pretty much everything tbh.
