Trouble setting up webcam
So I ssh'd into the raspberry pi and ran cd ~/crowsnest and sudo make install. Then after I rebooted, the update manager showed an update for crowsnest. I let it update and rebooted again. (had v4.0.2-0 -> v4.1.9-1). Then I had to set everything in the config file for crowsnest again. Now it works!

Heated Bed Failure
Replacing the thermal fuse worked! The bed is now heating and got through a benchy without issues. Here's the fuse I ended up putting on it: 157C, 15A. https://amzn.to/3vhviez

Heated Bed Failure
Can I just throw any thermal fuse thats rated right temperature in there? Like this one is 150C, 250V, 15A https://amzn.to/49dCmXE or https://amzn.to/3OiFklO (many temp options for 10 and 15A)

Heated Bed Failure
ok. A few questions to follow that then: - Can I just solder it instead of crimping? Or solder on short wire extension and put a connector on it? - How do I cover it back up? Like what adhesive to glue the pocket back down? - this is 10A (assuming whats in mine is the same)... I am in US so 120V with 1500W heater ~12.5A which is more than 10A. Im guessing with running the bed hotter for the PETG, it was likely pulling more current for longer and that was probably what caused it to blow and less likely the bed went over 150C. How do I prevent this from happening again? Is there a higher current version of it? Or is there a way I can limit it in the configuration? * I would think since I bought the 120V version of the heater that the fuse would be appropriately rated for the nominal current... wtf?

is it possible to replace the fuse? Any idea how it could have tripped? Before the errors, the printer successfully completed several 17+ hour prints with PETG at 80C.

VFAs and not straight lines
I've been messing with the belts for some time and still have not resolved this issue. I adjusted the pulley placement on the motors, checked frame squareness and deracked and am still having vertical artifacts. A few things I've noticed: the rear idlers have the belt running pretty centered, but regardless of how I shim the front, it still wants to run the bottom of the idlers. Is this a common problem for the 500mm printers and just the weight of the belt? Could it be coming from somewhere else? Ive thought about replacing everything with gates, but I dont want to waste the money if its not going to fix it. The belts also seem to bounce quite a bit when moving.

The belts are running the edges of some of the pulleys, but I'm not sure how to better align it. When the belts are loose, everything moves very smoothly. Once the belts are tightened, I can feel the varying resistance thats corresponding with the wavy edges (can see in first picture a bit as if youre looking down a piece of wood to see if its straight). There was a little bit of dust, but no visible wear on the belt. I've tried loosening all the pulleys to get it to align better and it didnt seem to make a difference.

in the slicer it is disabled. The parameter in the firmware is set to false. I tried setting it to true and when I saved, it threw an error, so I changed it back to false.
