Z-Axis Crash during homing after tall prints
Not a bug but just something that happens on tall prints that almost fill the build volume.
For example when I print something with a Z-Height of 290mm on my VC 300, the print ends with the bed, or rather the arms, around 10 mm above the Z-couplers. The motors are then disabled.
Next time the printer homes, the bed moves down 15 mm as part of the homing procedure, crashing into the couplers of the leadscrews for the last "5 mm".
The crash sounded very unhealthy. My fix now is to set center kinematic position and manually move the bed up before I home it again.
- Any Ideas on how this could be fixed or improved?
- Maybe implementing something similar to sensoreless homing on the Z-Axis as a failsafe?
- has anyone experienced this and / or done something about it?

Sometimes KlipperScreen / Mainsail wont start, SSH is possible
So every so often, I turn on the power of the printer (and pi, which is powered with a dedicated 5V 3A meanwell PSU going to the USB-c port)
My klipperscreen shows the usual pi bootup console, then it turns black and stays like that.
Usually KlipperScreen comes online after a couple seconds and the Mainsail is available.
However sometimes the screen stays black with the console cursor in the corner, and no connection to mainsail ist possible. A hard reset fixes is sometimes, sometimes I have to cut power several times until it boots successfully.
I did notice tho that I can ssh into the pi, to the problem is likely klipper related. Havent found anything in the logs tho (mainly cause I dont know what to look for). On time I issued a reboot command via ssh, which didn't help and the pi wasnt reachable at all afterwards?
Any suggestion on what to do for troubleshooting (via SSH) once this happens again?
