Weird Artifacts / ripples due to Volumetric Flow Limit
So I just got these artifacts during a print on my VC 300.
has anyone ever seen something like this?
It appears on all arcs (inside and outside) except for the innermost ring. Also on the straight sections between the rings, but not on the purely straight sections that are above.
Some parts are random, some show a pattern with a spacing of roughly 1.2mm, so it’s not the belts?
As it is over the entire arcs I don’t think it’s ghosting.
As it is also on straight sections I don’t think the slicer did something wonky with the arcs (or low resolution arcs)
Printed in Das Filament PLA at 220°C
0.4 mm Nozzle
0.3 mm Layer height
130% extrusion width.
Speed: 300 mm/s
Acceleration: 10k mm/s2
Outer perimeter acc: 6300 mm/s2
Any suggestions or ideas are welcome
Thank you guys

While I was checking the sliced file for more Stats to give you, I noticed that somehow my Flow limiter changed back to 200 mm3/s.
So it tried to print those arcs with around 44 mm3/s while the bondtech cht can do about 30-35. Havent checked exactly with this filament yet.
I guess these ripples are how extrusion issues look on arcs when not printing in Vase mode (where you get the alternating extrusions)
So solved - delete or keep for others 🙂
