Not having any luck fixing the belt tension.
I might have had just a little lift on the corner. Probably needed to clean from the previous print. The Garolite or PCB board is a good surface for materials that like to curl. It has good grip with a little PVA stick. Might try my flexible filament goo and see how that works also.

The bump around the 120hz has to do with anything slightly loose on the toolhead as I understand it. I have the PTFE connected with just a ziptie about halfway up the cable loop. So it is likely that. I don't want to restrict the bowden tube much as I've had curled filament break in the tube on my other printer.

Not having any luck fixing the belt tension.
This is PCTG. I'm thinking I need to be running a bit hotter than I am. Right now I just need to get the flow and retraction dialed in. I'll be working on ABS next as that is the material I want to move to for production parts.
Just glad that the garolite bed is working with the Beacon sensor. That should make ABS and PC easier to print. (Though I'm thinking of trying the first layer PLA to grip the bed. Not sure how the 60c bed temp might effect the chamber temps for those filaments.)

Not having any luck fixing the belt tension.
This may be just a resounance issue. I did a VFA tower and 120mm/s seems to be one of the worst speeds. Much less at other velocities. So I'm going to move forward and post here if I find anything more.

printer.cfg changes lost on power cycle
Found it. Was "Digital" PWM on those fans when it should not have been. Thanks for clearing that up!

printer.cfg changes lost on power cycle
I'll try running back through the configurator. Though that was correct, but maybe not.

printer.cfg changes lost on power cycle
It reports that it successfully saved when I hit the save button. It also reports saved if I hit save and restart.

printer.cfg changes lost on power cycle
Had it backwards. RatOS.cfg is not saving through power cycles. The changes take if it is just a restart. But I have to change the fans every time it is a power cycle.

printer.cfg changes lost on power cycle
Doesn't seem to work. I had to re-enter the fan info again. The RatOS seemed to work. It still had the shaper mods. So just printer.cfg is misbehaving. 😕

Can not update MCU 'mcu' error after updating
Ah, I have the Pi on it's own PSU. Then I used a separate USB power supply for my 446 when I was doing the flashing.

Hotend thermistor reading 129c at room temp
Re-did the configurator just to make sure it is the same everywhere. Now everything is reporting the correct temps.

Hotend thermistor reading 129c at room temp
Found the wrong thermistor in one of the config files. Now they should all say PT1000. I think I may redo the configurator again as now the cooling fan is running when it shouldn't be. 😕

Hotend thermistor reading 129c at room temp
I checked the Rapido and it has a PT1000 RTD. Changed this in RatOS.cfg and it now reads 159.3c at ambient. The RTD checks out at ~1.1k ohms at the pins. So the crimps are good. Wondering if this could be a bad toolboard?

I'm stuck at MCU Protocol error
Sorry, the poor printer is well down on the current priority list. I re-imaged the Pi several times because I was having problems with the Pi using Wifi to get to the internet (likely just a problem with our internal network topology). Took the electronics home and skipped the Wifi part to force the Pi to use the router and that finally got everything talking and updating.

I'm stuck at MCU Protocol error
I reflashed the Pi and now I'm at the printer screen. Maybe the SD card got corrupted? I'll chase through the rest of the initial install. Hope this has it fixed.
