Rancourt loafers - is this price common?
I'm heavily considering buying some of these chromexcel penny loafers from Rancourt: https://www.rancourtandcompany.com/products/pre-sale-pinch-penny-loafers-carolina-brown-chromexcel The price ($160) seems excellent for chromexcel, but still high and I've never really worn loafers before, and have other clothing purchases I want to make soon that would have a bigger effect (I already own some ll bean mocs), so justifying the price on top of all that is hard. I'm wondering if this price range is rare for Rancourts, or if it's likely they'd hit near this price point again in a future sale? If so, I can get them in some future sale, but want to be sure this isn't an unusual price for them.

Spier & Mackay OCBD vs. used Gitman Bros. Vintage OCBD
I'm considering a new OCBD and am torn between a new S&M casual oxford, vs. a Gitman Bros. Vintage I found online used, similar price. Quality on the used GBV seems great, doesn't look worn. S&M has returns, I wouldn't be able to return the GBV. Sizing on both is very similar except GBV is probably too long to wear untucked, so I'd likely hem it. S&M is currently out of slim medium, so I'd possibly get contemporary fit and have it taken in. As far as Ivy details goes, collar roll is nice but I have no other preferences about them. Would it be stupid to not go for the GBV? I'm very curious about how much of a quality difference there is and I've never owned any high-end clothing before. But S&M might be a "safer" choice due to possibility of returns - though the measurements online seem on-point.

Removing smell from thrifted camel hair overcoat
I've got an old camel hair overcoat that I received on ebay from goodwill. It smells, fairly strongly, ...like an actual camel, and possibly with some old person smell mixed in there as well. I love how it looks but have no idea if this smell is likely to go away. Any ideas on what to do with this kind of fabric? Should dry cleaning be enough to take care of it, or given the source should I expect that it won't dissipate?
