Rancourt loafers - is this price common?
I'm heavily considering buying some of these chromexcel penny loafers from Rancourt:

The price ($160) seems excellent for chromexcel, but still high and I've never really worn loafers before, and have other clothing purchases I want to make soon that would have a bigger effect (I already own some ll bean mocs), so justifying the price on top of all that is hard.
I'm wondering if this price range is rare for Rancourts, or if it's likely they'd hit near this price point again in a future sale?
If so, I can get them in some future sale, but want to be sure this isn't an unusual price for them.

This is very cheap for rancourt, which is a respected brand, it will likely be a 6-12+ months before it comes back at this price
For context I paid just over $300 for my rancourt loafers
The presales are generally ~once a year, maybe twice
You also probably won't receive them for 4-6+ months

If you do order this make sure you print out rancourts size chart and check your size
That's the struggle. I mean I have the money but am wanting to buy a bunch of other shirts/pants so it'll come to >$415 on clothes which is uncommon for me
They're TTS, right? I really like that they have E width

Also pretty sure they recommend sizing down a half size in their loafers
Which worked for me, I have boots from them in 7E and loafers in 6.5E and both fit like a dream

Oh man this is tempting. I've been considering some beefroll pennys from Oak Street, which I believe are actually made by Rancourt. I prefer the pinch look, so these are literally what I've been looking for.
I'm not sure if the sizing is the same as Oak Street, but I had to size down a lot. My Brannock size is 9.25C, and I needed a size 7!!
Apparently the chromexcel leather is quite stretchy.
They are not made by rancourt. I forget who it is rn but it’s not them
One of those two sizes is wildly wrong
I did the pre-order for this exact pair back in March. I sized down and they were way too tight - couldn't even get one of my feet in. Did an exchange for my TTS size, and it was great. The exchange was easy and the TTS size fits well, without any slippage. The roughout on the heel helps with this.
That's awesome to know. So if they do these pre-order sales in July and hopefully in March, I'll try to catch it then
