in terms of vintage brands, pendleton, j.crew, ralph lauren and its diffusion lines (polo ralph lauren, chaps by ralph lauren [that exact name, not just "chaps"]) and many military overcoats all fit the bill

because streetwear is such a broad term "basics" are largely a matter of personal preference; for some a black hoodie is basic but for others its a giant graphic print (for example)

for hoodies it depends on what you want - basic blanks like champion's reverse weave or russell athletic are easy to come by. could probably find something at uniqlo too

the only thing i wouldn't do is try to wear a navy jacket but there's lot of options out there; it would help to narrow down your options by looking through #waywt or #inspiration to see what you like.

i don't think navy pants are that difficult to pair, as with all things it depends on the sport coat, the pants, and the shirt/tie you're wearing (pics would help greatly)

the logistics of what to buy, where and how to shop, etc. are a lot easier when you know what you want to look like. otherwise you risk wasting money on stuff you don't like

bronson mfg fatigues (or vintage fatigues) might be an option - they have size adjusters for the waist but are full enough to accommodate everything else
