Shoe recs based on pants?
Was looking for any shoe recs that would work with most if not all of the pants in these photos, I'm trynna buy my first pair or two pairs of shoes other than the joggers I have rn. Ngl current shoes work with some stuff that is baggier but still don't look as good.
My style, which I'm still trynna figure out is between minimalism / workwear and some athleisure.

Black loafers or grey trainers jump to mind
Also dark brown/black boots
Chunky leather sneakers, like a new balance. White, grey, or burgundy
any specific models?
@braindrops any specific models?
also if I were to get 2 shoes, would it be best to get a sneaker and a loafer/boot? but ofc wanna go slow so ig sneaker first
I'm not as experienced with boots, any starting point or things to know?
Depends on the budget tbh, could go solovair/doc marten/thursday on the budget end and on the high end could go like whites/wesco/nicks or viberg
okay thanks I'll search em up later
Are there any categories / types of loafers? Cos what comes to my mind are the typical thin/slim loafers
I would avoid Thursday for several reasons

for loafers imo something with a lug sole comes to mind - timberland's 3 eye lug sole boat shoes or sebgao dan loafers come to mind https://www.timberland.com/en-us/p/men/footwear-10039/mens-timberland-authentics-3-eye-boat-shoe-TB030003214 https://sebago-usa.com/products/dan-lug-black

that said imo the minimalism and athleisure influences are more pronounced in your pics; imo i'd lean into those and get a chunky sneaker. without a budget/location it's hard to give specific recs but salomon xt-6s and new balance 574/1906/99x series all come to mind and have various colorways
That’s a new one to me, fair enough
i'd still look at narrowing your preferences - look for fits in general (#waywt #inspiration instagram etc) that you like and specifically the choice of shoe, especially for "workwear" fits
