zara

IMO, zara is a total crapshoot between their "quality", fit, and whether their pieces are good value for money. sometimes they hit, sometimes they miss. zara's fitting is all over the place because it's a brand that used to make clothes with skinny people in mind. but has now also introduced baggy oversized pieces to follow recent trends.
if you have a zara store near you, try the clothes on. if you're only able to buy online, avoid zara.

the very short length combined with the deep red color will make it a very siutational piece would you wear this more than once a year? id recommend focusing on building a wardrobe thats versatile and fits most occasions, then adding those super-niche pieces later

How many coats and jackets to own?

none are neccessities. your needs can vary based on your location, age, style, etc.
i'd start with 1-2. aquire 1 at a time. go with versatile jackets that can fit many outfits. neutral colors like black/white/grey.

the pants are a much lighter shade than the shoes and shirt.
i'd almost say go with darker pants, or go with lighter stone grey pants so it looks intentional.
