Steam/Steam OS not launching?
Good morning lovely ladies and gentlemen. I’m running into an issue with my Steam on my “bazzite-gnome-deck” (I think that was it) system. Recently I’ve been needing to manually add the Steam library directory I use via the Storage settings, each time I start the system up. And lately I’ve noticed Steam OS doesn’t launch on boot; it goes straight to desktop mode. And in Desktop mode, Steam refuses to launch at all.
I wonder if it might have something to do with storage? Recently I created a 300 odd GB partition on a SATA SSD (I used space not currently occupied on the disk) for windows. I don’t know if that might have something to do with it?
Please let me know how I can deal with this! I would really appreciate it!

Partition a drive for dual boot?
Hey guys. Pardon me if my question is a bit dumb. I’d rather run it by you guys before taking any action.
Basically I would like to create a separate partition on an SSD for windows, as the system I use for gaming of course isn’t compatible with all PC games. League for example I’d probably need to use a Windows OS to run.
My current system is bazzite-gnome-deck, and I use it as a home heater PC.
I was thinking of getting an external SSD to use whenever I needed to, but I don’t know how well that’d work. Unfortunately I don’t have any more space for an internal drives. My case doesn’t support more drives, and motherboard doesn’t have any more SATA ports.
Do you guys have any suggestions? I have read a bit of the dual boot documentary, and it does advise only creating a separate drive before installation. So any advice regarding an already existing bazzite setup would be greatly appreciated.

Allowing a port?
Hi guys. Wanted to open a port to make Black Ops 3's NAT type open on my Bazzite system. I worry the port might not be allowed from the computer. Please let me know if that's how it works? Tried opening some ports via the browser but no dice.

Disks partition issues after reinstalling?
Hi guys. I reinstalled Bazzite onto an NVME, and want to keep all the data on the other drives I have. I see that it's not picking up any of those drives' data. I don't know if I made a mistake in the installation process somehow, so is there any way I can retrieve the data kept on these drives?

Disk optimisation?
Hi guys. Nothing serious, just wanted to know if there’s something I can do regarding optimising my hard drives? I have a good few hard drives with Bazzite installed, and I see some games take their time to load, or tend to stutter when loading things from the disk. Might just be a hardware issue or something, but I wanted to know if there’s anything I should keep in mind when it comes to this? Should I just get one big SSD instead of multiple different disks? I initially installed Bazzite on 2 HDDs and 2 SSDs.
Any advice would be very helpful! Thanks!

Performance Mode causes CPU to reach 90°C
Hey guys. I’ve been looking at the temps for my rig that i’ve been running with Bazzite for a while now. I’m very happy with it so far, but I’m running into a bit of an issue. It seems either my cooling isn’t working as it should, or my room is really not well ventilated enough, or both. Maybe there are other factors at play too.
Anyway, I run a lot of different emulations, and Rpcs3 specifically requires a lot of performance from the CPU. It’s here where I notice the cpu temps reaching up to 90°C in temperature. Now this could definitely be an issue with the cooler I have installed currently, but before I go buying a new AIO, I just want to know if there’s anything else I should/could try to stabilise the temperature? I unfortunately can’t accurately monitor the fan speed with a GUI like ICUE (all my fans are corsair).
Any suggestions?

Lutris update?
Hi! I'm a bit new to linux in general, and wanted to know about how I can go about updating Lutris. I've seen that there are flatpack packages I can input into the terminal, but it seemingly created a new Lutris copy altogether. I assume that means I have to update Lutris another way. Can you please tell me how I can go about doing that?
