Lutris update?
Hi! I'm a bit new to linux in general, and wanted to know about how I can go about updating Lutris. I've seen that there are flatpack packages I can input into the terminal, but it seemingly created a new Lutris copy altogether. I assume that means I have to update Lutris another way. Can you please tell me how I can go about doing that?

All package updates should be updated together with other system updates.
You can either
Check for updates
in Steam Gaming Mode (if you have it) or in Desktop Mode run ujust update
in the terminal.
Mind you that depending on the release cycle you have installed (e.g. stable, latest, etc.), the update might first arrive during the week...12 Replies
the short answer is you have to wait for the fedora repo to be updated with it
That's fine. Just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything
Thanks so much!
So I see there is a new version of Lutris available. Can I ask what would be the most effective way of updating it?

Fedora package maintainers need to update their package.
Ignore the message and move on with your day 🙂
Update will arrive as soon as it's in fedora
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there already updated packages available at https://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=lutris&submit=Search+...&system=fedora&arch= ? Or am I missing something?
Yep we just haven't done a stable build yet
Thank you!
Moving on with my day...
bazzite have new build few hours ago, the legacy nvidia is failing tho
latest lutris should be in the latest bazzite image, unless you use legacy nvidia driver
Will verify when I'm home ^^
System Update did indeed update Lutris. Thank you all for the help!
