Disks partition issues after reinstalling?
Hi guys. I reinstalled Bazzite onto an NVME, and want to keep all the data on the other drives I have. I see that it's not picking up any of those drives' data. I don't know if I made a mistake in the installation process somehow, so is there any way I can retrieve the data kept on these drives?

run
sudo fdisk -l
in the terminal which will list all the available disks and partitions. Check if you can see your other disks/partitions with your data filesCan I share the log here? Looks like it's picking up the drives, though I don't know exactly what I'm looking at lmao
Sure you can take a screenshot
2 hdds, 2 sata ssds, 1 nvme for boot
only 240gb ssd and nvme are usable as i formatted both (240gb was the previous boot drive)
It looks promising that you have everything. Have a look at the docs on auto mounting the other drives https://docs.bazzite.gg/Advanced/KDE_Partition_Manager_Auto_Mount_Guide/
KDE Partition Manager Auto Mount Guide - Bazzite Documentation
Bazzite is a custom image built upon Fedora Atomic Desktops that brings the best of Linux gaming to all of your devices.
I'm using Gnome. I checked the Disk manager tool there, and it's showing that the contents of each of these drives are "Unknown".
In /etc/fstab. just about every one of them are showing btrfs though.
Am I missing something?
I'm unable to access the drives functions like "Edit Mount Point"
The fact that they are showing as "Unknown" has me a bit concerned. I'm going to leave this to someone who knows drives on Linux a bit better
Agreed...
I mean worst case scenario I suppose i'll just have to format them
but I'd really like that to be a last resort...
