Weird Artifacts when layers get small & fast
That's fair. Pre-IDEX, my ABS profiles were pretty decent, but maybe something else has changed. It's on my list to give that a shot. Thanks!

Weird Artifacts when layers get small & fast
Haven't even messed with IS yet but this is on my hopefully this weekend. Never felt like I could fully get the hybrid belts to the point where they a) weren't floppy and b) didn't makes my graphs look less than ideal on hybrid to begin with so I'm not holding out a ton of hope that they don't look rough on IDEX lol

Haven't yet tried PLA just cause ABS is what I already had loaded when I started messing with this. It is on my list, but honestly I've been delaying it because accepting "I can only do PLA" is less than ideal even if it were to work lol

Weird Artifacts when layers get small & fast
Another benchy attempt, again at a (crazy slow) 100mm/s & 2k....trying to burn everything back to the ground and see if this thing is even capable of giving a reasonable quality print 😔

Weird Artifacts when layers get small & fast
It might be a harder test, but the prints I'm getting so far make it seem impossible, which it shouldn't be.... especially at very very slow speeds

Well feel free to keep me posted, and I'll do the same if I make any breakthroughs. Not holding out major hope at the moment though sadly

Sorry, yes. It unfortunately did not. Let's just say the possibility of un-idex'ing this thing is still definitely not outside the realm of possibility.
Even slowing printing down to ~100mm/s and 2k accel is still pretty awful. About the only thing I haven't tried yet is pulling the spools off of their holders inside the printer, and just putting them on some super smooth rollers to eliminate any form of resistance from the possibility list

Interesting...they're definitely snug so I will give that a shot thank you.

Anyone have a completely working Nginx Reverse Proxy config by chance?
Ok. I'm far from an expert but I have enough self hosted services set up that doesn't a huge portion of software that has a web UI utilize either Apache or Nginx? I'm confused as to why that would break just a single page when 95% of it works perfectly.
The only clue I've seen so far was a console error that indicated the secure websocket connection couldn't be opened over a non-secure connection. Which would make sense since even though browser to RP is public trusted CA cert encrypted, the connection between the RP and RatOS is only HTTP.
That all makes me think I could easily fix if by serving RatOS over HTTPS (just with a basic self signed cert) but I don't suppose there's an easy way to do that without diving deep into each individual RatOS host I have right?

Strange infill separation problem after pretty good first layer
Yeah appreciate the advice - I had the same issue with my third test print to make sure things were working before I tried a fresh roll. I’m not entirely sure what the issue was, but for sake of completeness this issue seems to have resolved itself for me after releveling and increasing my line widths a smidge. Thanks all!!

Thanks for the response! I honestly haven’t printed a single part that’s this big on it in a long long time, but no other “normal” sized prints I haven’t seen this issue with. I did try slicing it at 0.3 rather than the 0.2 I usually use however. I also don’t see any signs of clogging either when it’s happening…the extruder is definitely not skipping.
I think I’m going to try playing with the line width and see if putting down just a little more plastic will help those line edges adhere to each other better…at least that’s where my head is currently at.
