t shirts?
They’re like $35-40 from Japanese stockists and closer to $60-70 from US stockists. They’re hard to find sometimes because they sell out fast at Hinoya and Bears but Celluloid 1984 still has some stock and they do not require a proxy https://www.celluloid1984.com/?

t shirts?
I’d recommend Warehouse 4601 for pocket tees. They have a pocketless version too.

favorite chambray work shirt with a decent collar under $200?
Otherwise, I like the Engineered Garments ones and the Big Yank ones (including the "new" repros). I'm a sucker for the cigarette pocket followed closely by the USN style pockets. I got both my wife and FIL the J. Crew chambray and I was pleasantly surprised by them too

favorite chambray work shirt with a decent collar under $200?
People seem to like the Buzz Rickson ones as well although the sleeves are too short for me. They go for more like $100 if you buy from Porkys on From Japan https://hinoya.shop/products/br25995?

The Warehouse ones are supposedly really nice if you can find them anywhere. https://hinoya.shop/en-us/products/3048-23

vintage t shirts cut
If your question is which modern t shirts are closest to a mid century cut, then Warehouse 4601 (and the pocketless version) are close. They’ve got a boxy fit, cropped length, and loopwheeled fabric and sell for $35-50 each

Looking for simple boot to go with indigo/black denim
The Byron boot from Rancourt is in the $450 range as well if you’re not wedded to the moc tow and is a very easy break-in. They go for around $250 during their pre-sales (probably July) if you’re not in a hurry and can wait 6-8 months https://www.rancourtandcompany.com/products/byron-boot-tan-bulldog?The

Looking for simple boot to go with indigo/black denim
Alden factory seconds can be found at The Shoe Mart. Factory second Indy’s generally are in the $450 range iirc. Quality should not be much different than the first run pairs

Levi's Vintage Clothing brand/Selvedge Denim Jeans
At the end of the day though, you should just get whatever gives you the fit that you most want and brings you the most joy. If that's the LVC, then they are still plenty nice and don't let me discourage you

Some of the old Made in Japan or Valencia Street lines of LVC from the 90s and early 2000s would be an exception. Most of the present day ones are made in Bulgaria or Turkey and will have denim with a more regular weave and less vintage style irregularities

For the price of LVC, you’re nearing the ultra premium tier of Japanese repros, including handmade one and two man band style companies (Ooe Yofukuten, Connors Sewing Factory) and Freewheelers

Never handled many LVC but the consensus is that the Japanese repro brands have equally nice or nicer denim with more accurate details at roughly half the price as LVC

To be fair and a bit more precise, the $150 range that I gave is more like a liberal +/- $35 spread from Sugar Cane at 115 to Warehouse at closer to 180.

They should restock sometime soon since Hinoya just got one. Hinoya is closer to $200 for non wash 1001xx I guess but Still much cheaper than LVC
