High rise denim (12.5 inch+)
Recently bought a pair of TCB 50's jeans, really like the way they look but they're way too tight and uncomfortable in the top block/ass area. From looking at the measurements I don't think sizing up will help as the rise doesn't increase that much. Looking for another pair with similar fit but a higher rise, budget £150-£200.
So far I've found the TCB S40's but they look like they're only up for preorder atm. I also like the look of these Sugar Cane 1942's but can't see measurements or find them available anywhere.
Thanks!

TCB 30s but currently out of stock so you'd have to wait for a restock
I don't understand why sizing up won't help
thanks, I like the look of these
it might help a bit but if I went up 2 sizes to a 40 the front rise and back rise only increases by 0.2 and 0.3 inches and the waist will end up being too big I think

I think the issue is mainly with the back rise tbf
Sugar Cane 1942 are a small run limited edition for 2-3x the standard SC models. SC 1947 or 1955 are probably better options unless you really want WW2 details. TCB s40s are relatively slim up top
I also recommend FC 0105 (buy from Celluloid 1984). Some other good 50s repros would be Jelado 313xx, Freewheeers 601xx 1951, Denime 220a 1954, word of mouth 5150
3sixteen RS-100x
Rise barely changes in sizing up and down for pants in general. Within one model, they're all based on the same pattern
