Shirt-Pant-Shoe Interactiom
Wore the Harvesty Wide pants (https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1135916565183856660/1295931592232927273 pictured left) today to gauge if they're viable for anything beyond wearing over other pants, and this is what I managed. Because of their long rise and short inseam vs my long pelvis and long legs, intentionally cropped fits felt like the best move (and even then, the pants are fairly low on the hip)
I don't feel great about this, and in part because I think the easy way to resolve those feelings is "wear a normal length pair of pants" and/or "wear no vest" which imo both make this a fundamentally different fit, but I'm prone to malding so I figured I'd throw it to the wolves.

Break question
Hi I recently got my pants hemmed to 28 after getting measured, I haven't washed these so wondering if these will shrink to fit better. are these considered full break? Shall I have it hemmed a bit more?
Styling feedback: corduroy jacket, trousers
So today I tried to emulate another POPEYE style, this time this casual image. I didn't have exactly that brown jacket but I did have a button-on shirt that I felt matched the vibe. I also used a pair of Levi's 502 trousers which I felt closely matched the silhouette here.

I'm thinking of buying these brown monk straps, are they good enough as dress shoes or should I look for a pair of oxfords?

Hey all, I've been trying to get into fashion more and I'm trying to figure out my measurements so I can order stuff online (I'm not really close to a big city where I can try stuff on). I think this is my best fitting pair of jeans. They are Levis 511 28W 30L. Do they fit me well enough to base measurements off of them? Also I plan on getting straight fit jeans when I order some more pants, do some of the pant measurements like thigh measurements change depending on the fit or are they usually...

I'm loving these two hippy style tie dye items, but do not have much of a clue for what shoe style and colour would work well with them. The blue and white duster goes down to the calves, if that is important.
