the process is definitely more fun than frustrating for sure, with only very little of the latter, mostly when other parts of my life leave little energy to deal with clothing i feel like i regress into my unispired comfort zone

Thank you @GSH (Ben) for writing this, I really appreciate the insight into your journey, as well as the conversation happening here so far. I'm still trying to find what this whole journey means to me and it is a bit overwhelming. Before your breakthrough did you have any difficulty sorting out things that you might really liked but that ended up going to your "stuff I am not feeling" list? Was figuring this out just a lot of trial and error and keeping track of things in your google doc? As much as I am trying to hone into finding my style, it can feel like throwing shit into a wall to see what sticks, and a bit directionless.

I miss mine. Before I sold it I’d pair it all the time with my cargos (FA or Norwegian) pants, a patterned shirt or graphic tee, and leave it open.

Not a fan of the Reebok collabs, but at least they are not as bad as the adidas collab from the mid 2010s

Im 9e brannock. I think the rec with Michaels is to size down half but since I have wide feet I went with tts, size 42 Clusaz I guess I’d be 8uk but those were too tight, so sized up to 8.5uk and that works really well for me. Same as my Reims size

Wide sneakers?
574s did not work for me either, a bit narrow in the tow box and low at the instep, although it was the regular width, never tried the wide versions

I’ve had a bunch of Japanese loopwheel sweats over the years and usually wash in cold water, delicate cycle, inside out and they’ve been alright.

it does look just like that. Out of curiosity, what is the garment and what is it made of?

Wide sneakers?
chucks and some vans come in wide sizes, but you have to order directly from the site. my brannock is 9E, and the wide chucks fit perfect (went 8.5 wide). With New Balance I found the regular MiUSA stuff fits in regular widths (I use 990v5, v6, 996 and 998 in size 9), but they also come in EE and EEEE widths although they will be a bit pricier.
