The two men's t-shirts I do have and wear in a slightly oversized way are 3XL. From what I've read, that is rare in Asian brands. Would be interested to hear of options for that size range though.

Yes but also no - most men's tops will have wider shoulders and narrower hips compared to women's. Even if there's no standard "men's fit", the overall trends for shape skew that way.

All the men's trousers I've tried in the past have come up high on me, but wearing them where I normally wear trousers means the crotch is too low. I haven't tried any in years so maybe I should have another try.

I'm not bemoaning being fat, I don't really mind about that so much from an aesthetic POV. My particular problem is that I'm nonbinary/agender/whatever AFAB and I had top surgery. So I don't have proportions that fit into men's clothing. It's impossible. Nothing fits in the right place. Shirts are completely out of the question because if they fit my waist, the shoulders are halfway down my arms, the bottom of the shirt is way too low, and the sleeves are far too long. Jackets and jumpers are the same. T-shirts can be ok if I do oversized, roll the sleeves, tuck it in or shorten the hem. I've never found a pair of trousers that worked for me except sweatpants. So I wear almost exclusively women's clothing which I have no problem with doing, but it's harder to find things that aren't feminine, and it's even harder to find them in my size. I'm sized out of a lot of high street retailers, and I'm right on the upper end of a lot of the other ones, so I can forget completely about trying any higher end stuff. I'd absolutely love to just have a standardly guy shaped body so that I could buy the clothes I want but it's not my reality. I'm lucky that I'm on the average/slightly taller size for women and my shoe size is within men's and women's sizing at least. So, even if a guy here was to share where his items are from, there's a 99% chance it won't fit me. Tailoring stuff to fit would be practically reconstructing the whole garment so is unrealistic.

Cheers. I haven't really interacted in the Discord much yet so not sure the best way to go about things. I do just feel like I'm not up to date with the cool things, but also unsure if I can be bothered. The other thing is that because of my body size and shape, I'm very restricted on where I can shop so I struggle a lot finding clothes I like in the first place. Plus all the other shit going on in life!

😬 They're quite loose fitting at the thighs, unlike the skinnies of old but yeah. I do have wider trousers as well. Idk, it feels hard to balance getting older and not wanting to chase trends so much vs looking outdated.
