Z banding on large prints?
Realy curious on your sliced files. If there is a repetition in the bands, you might want to look and see in the gcode view of your slicer if there is something similar on (for example) cooling on/off, rotation (extruding clockwise vs anti-clockwise), flow, speed. I sometimes see these bands as well and can see on the gcode view for cooling fanspeed a similar patern... switching it on or off over the whole part could tell you someting?
Also, Near the corners it seems to be much better. Could this have to do with pressure advance, properly tuned (as you wrote) and that for normal extrusions you have a slight over extrusion?

Rapido 2 thermistor not reading correctly (pt1000 on EBB42-with max31865)
Up and running again!!! Had me going around in circles for a while, until I figured out that I needed to reconfigure sensor_pin: PA1,... (whereas I had reconfigured heater_pin: PA1)

All, Appreciate the feedback! This will get me going agian untill the replacement EBB42 NON MAX31865 arrives.
Two remaining questions:
1. in the manual (I have actually read it, for a change) of the Manta is stated that I should add an additional resistor in parallel (I assume over the short-circuit pins? Beats me why... or parallel over the thermistor pins?). I have not seen this in the Wiring diagram or anywhere else. Do I need this?
2. It is mentioned that the readout is "far less accurate this way". What is "Far less"? is that one degree off (no problem for me) or 10 degrees off (big problem for me)

As a workaround, if you have a EBB42 or EBB 36, you could try selecting that as your measurement tool (in the analyses page). Could be sufficient for now.

Good to have you on board for the next few days/weeks/months/years? with the VC3. Mikl tels me it is a good printer LOL 🙂 . I have the full metal mount mod and a dual-carriage/extrusion less gantry... I am currently on a path to see if the dual carriage is not causing my over-dampening issues... my shaper graphs are very weird and I actually feel the friction (sometimes, when the sun is low, wind is coming from the east).... It is either that, or a misconfigured skew (hence this search for my skew-profile loading). The misconfigured skew could have caused all my eva3 parts to be slightly out-off-whack.... it CANT BE the frame as it is SUPER Square... Loose bolts,... whell, there are 42,281 bolts in this printer and I think I checked them all 3 times.... but still it is a possebility,...

forgot all about that... that file is my (old and no longer usefull?) way of combining my custom macros in one place.... works,... if your brain keeps track of this shit... I believe with the current RATOS2.1, loading and clearing the skew profiles is not required, right? I have now declared in [gcode_macro RatOS]
