Constant black screen when booting into game mode or loading desktop mkde

I get this blinking _ error 3/4 times I boot the system or loading into desktop mode. Why am I getting this? I don't have any packages layered as well and I am using the steam deck oled 1tb

Has anyone ever experienced power button issues on the steam deck?

Hey I experienced an internal issue that involves internal wear on the contact points of the power button. My steam deck is the 500gb LCD edition. I am also wondering if it will become an issue for the steam deck OLED as well. I am also wondering if there will be ways to prevent that issue from happening again on my new OLED 1tb that I am getting.

Steam deck power button is getting less and less responsive

IDK if this channel includes hardware problems as well. The power button on my steam deck 500 gig LCD model is just getting less and less responsive and it takes tons of presses to turn on my steam deck now.

Audio cracking in games in game mode

For about a little while (don't know the exact time when it started) I have been hearing audio cracking noises when playing No Mans Sky. It happens sometimes but not all the time while playing. It was also something that didn't happen before but it happens now. It does not happen in desktop mode at all so I can cross out that it is a hardware issue. IDK what is causing it and IDK what to do. This is happening on the Steam Deck 512 gigabytes version.

What does it mean when the inner circle of the steam deck logo is orange instead of the usual blue?

I have seen it when logging out back into game mode. Imagine the steam deck logo but it is orange instead of sky blue.

Scroll wheel input does not work on games in gamemode

I upgraded from 2024-04-24T17:03:19Z where virtual scroll wheel input works fine to 2024-05-10T17:05:56Z where it won't work. I tested it on both rimworld and gmod and it won't take in virtual scroll wheel input on the latest version. They both are running proton as well.

Why am I still sometimes getting the blinking `_` after reinstall while booting into game mode?

I didn't layer anything, install nix, or edited /etc files myself. This is on steam deck 512 gigs lcd edition.

Gamescope frequently crashes on boot

I often see the blinking cursor _ when booting up bazzite or switching back to game mode. IDK what is happening. I have no layered packages. Maybe there can be a systemd service that will attempt to restart gamescope if it failed to load and/or at least print some sort of error instead of the blinking _

something weird with the scroll trackpad

Whenever the deck wakes up from sleep on DM, the trackpad's sensitivity increases dramatically then it returns back to normal. Happening on kde wayland bazzite-deck:testing edit: I've noticed that it returns back to normal after opening steam osk until it wakes up from sleep mode
