Can external controllers still be connected on bazzite?
Bluetooth has connectivity issues with my headphones so I am wondering if it possible to pair controllers on bazzite.

It's worth a try. Personally I've not run into any issues with Bluetooth headphones or connecting my dualsense wirelessly
Are you using the deck or something else?
Desktop pc
That's strange, I've never had any issues pairing audio devices
Do they pair fine with over devices such as phones and other computers?
I am using the deck
I would try restarting the Bluetooth service or trying to use Bluetoothctl to pair it
So to restart it would be "sudo systemctl restart bluetooth"
Restarting the deck would also do this if you don't wanna use the terminal
And if that doesn't fix, you could try using the bluetoothctl tool to try pair your headphones
I did that many times before and does nothing
Are U comfortable using the terminal to try and pair using bluetoothctl
it says device not available
I am also using different hardware than you
can also confirm my Galaxy Buds Pro work fine
The only thing I can't seem to pair is my Switch Pro controller on my Deck still (tested this morning)
I does pair to my desktop though
that purple one is an ofifical pro controller, just case modded
working fine here
nintendo h/w is finnicky tho
I used to use the Pro controller ages ago, but I think it was before Bazzite, and I don't think I had paired it since. Other people back around Thanksgiving or Christmas were reporting the same behavior here. I was assuming it was a weird Bluez issue
mine is also official Nintendo
There was one, but that was patched upstream and brought back down to here
Once ahead of schedule, and then again when it hit main
⚰️
it might just be my headphones or it could be a different device trying to connect to my headphones
I also have issues with an xbone controller
it's connected, but steam just doesn't pick up any input
ujust configure-gamepads
depending change to default
or just skip the prompt alltogether
ujust configure-gamepads stock
then reboot
next update stock will be defaultGoing back enabling xbone and back to stock (with reboots in between) and re-pairing the controller got it working. Though it doesn't recognize it as an xbone controller unless wired in in steam. It thinks its a 360 controller when connected via Bluetooth. But whatever it works now
what do you mean by stock?
did the second, rebooted, then the first, rebooted the re-paired the controller
I thought you were talking about stock steam os
when "enable xone, etc" was on it actually didn't see the controller at all in steam
ah, nah
just visual from the driver, ignore it. the xbox elite controller shows up as a 360 controller with magic invisible bonus buttons 😂
Default fedora drivers will be default for new installs after friday update, so it should lower the amount of issues about this
does that include bluetooth? and what drivers are we currently using?
This is gamepad drivers, hence the
configure-gamepads
what is the advantage of the fedora drivers over the valve drivers
they aren't valve drivers
it's a question of if you want xpad (stock linux kernel) or xone & xpadneo (more support for official controllers, less for knockoffs)
oh ok
