try the hotkey to swap into 1st/3rd person and back again, usually fixes it. Mind the hotkey does not always catch the keypress.

Progressive Blueprinters mod
All blueprinters require previous tier to be purchased before they show up.
I'll add that to the mod info page.

Recommended minor vanilla-friendly mods?
1) Hotbar keybind mod exists and is vanilla firendly. -> https://ficsit.app/mod/KeybindableHotbar
2 & 3) you may have some luck with "sign" mods, but as those need to add custom things they are not vanilla friendly.
Check Infinite nudge for more nudge options and if you like keeping foliage intact, Gardener Tools.

Most performant item teleportation?
Micromanage, when it gets finally fixed. Or SCIM manual edit.
Game does not care if you move a belt halfway across the map, as long as its logically connected. Items will just 'teleport' across it.
Can be done with trains too.

Splitter and merger meshes disappeared
Have you tried full reboot of the windows? Not shutdown and start, full reboot.
I had someone report very same issue with disappearing mergers, that somehow went away after they restarted the machine.

I have similar issue on a large save that has been trans-copied* from old save.
@OP start a new game, skip onboarding, build hub and interact with calendar. Do gifts fall? They do fall on clean save for me, but not on my main save. Could be factory size related?
(*transcopied = used json editor to copy total playtime, swatches and vehicle paths, then imported old factory as megaprint. No falling gifts may have been used in past on the original save, but not on the new save. Unless NFG uses truck paths or is copied with megaprints, it shouldn't carry over for my case)

Any mods to allow player clipping through terrain?
You can also build a railway trhough rock and exit.
Or use fly mod and go to edge of map/hole and fly under.

Protogen color slider issue
@Unselles If I could suggest - use the "Overalls color" for the body, and the other sliders for highlights. Oh, and please let us change the hair color 😁

chainsaw fuel
Base game chainsaw uses solid biofuel (the rolls).
Gardener tools Precision chainsaw uses packaged fuel (yellow canisters)
Other mods, I dont know, check descriptions.
