New drive having issues with Steam games
installed a new 2tb hdd today, formatted to ntfs and moved a lot of stuff over - but steam is inexplicably unable to run anything that i moved there using the steam app - it tries to open a game and then just gives up without opening a window

neutral settings, no window opens when i launch it - people on protondb usually report it running otb, but i got nothing here

DXVK doesn't recognise Nvidia Driver
i'm following a guide to get a visual novel running properly on this os, as currently it only runs briefly before crashing at a random interval within a few minutes (https://www.reddit.com/r/visualnovels/comments/r724ep/guide_how_to_hopefully_run_full_metal_daemon/)
so i used protontricks to try to install dxvk, and it sent an error message referring me to the driver support list implying that it doesn't recognise my nvidia driver (which i verified is 570.133.07)

Reloaded ii File Picker Can't See My Steam Files
my p3r installation is in .local and the file picker for the mod manager can't see it for this reason - any idea of a workaround? i'd try moving the p3r files themselves if i could but i don't think that can be done without fully redownloading the game

Getting a device action to auto-play a CD
i have programmed a button in the device actions tab that plays a cd when it's inserted into the computer - now i want that command to auto-run when a cd is detected
anyone know how i'd do that? i don't like frequently relying on the kindness of this server, but this is almost solved already and i just need a new lead

Turn off G-Sync
