Just out of curiosity, how to disolder something that big as nice!nano using heat gun? I tried and it took very long time, my pcb became bent like banana, so experience was awful...

Hm, if you have no solder headers, not sure if my approaching with cutting pins suitable😂 They are quite expensive

Sharing experience, I am using controller with damaged middle row GPIO, I
1) disconnected damaged pin (I cut plastic part off header around damaged pin on controller side, and the disoldered it, but you could just cut pin and add some isolation tape between header and socket)
2) connected unused pin (e.g p0.08) to damaged one using wire on socket side(lily board, not controller)
As result you should have damaged GPIO disconnected from lily board, but unused pin connected to damaged column.
Then you just modify firmware to use different pin for given column

typeractive sells headers seperatly, so you could buy just headers. I tried to find alternative, but come to conclusion that it is better to buy from them, as at least you would receive support if something wont work as expected.

Maybe I am breaking some rules, but I can’t bare AI spreading miss information. There are alternatives to nice!nano - https://github.com/joric/nrfmicro/wiki/ALternatives
I use it, and it works good for me. But it might have worse connection then original, “unfixed version” could arrive (there is several revisions), which has high power consumption, and this could not be fixed without soldering skills. So don’t recommend if you want to buy something which just works (for me it did just work, but might not for you). But it is a lot cheaper.

Right side - corne premium case 2 rows stopped working while it was charging
I am using SuperMini instead of nice!nano, which has usb-c shielding connected to ground, and today middle row stopped working on left half, even without disconnecting usb cable, but just from movment of cable in the socket...
Will try to connect gnd to aluminium, if wont comment after this, count this as - worked.
(upd: 4 days passed, works fine)

Can you please suggest manual fix, to prevent frying controller? I ordered corne recently and would like to future proof from such problem. Will connecting USB-C shielding to GND and aluminium case(how to do it?) to GND help?
