How can I carry a Steam Deck and a laptop (and other stuff) to uni comfortably?
Then again, not having a good hip belt is the biggest deal breaker for me, so it might be a personal thing

I guess more to the point, I'd feel like I was LARPing with it

I guess it's a question of whether the form fits the function. As a fashion piece, absolutely not. As a climbing pack? It's not even a question.

It has little ties but given its size, I'd almost expect framing if you wanted to really get the most out of it

The Epperson is beautiful but the lack of waist straps would be a dealbreaker for me I think

Those Ospreys are only lightly gorpy, but they're still a little gorpy. If you want something more serious, the Briggs and Riley might be worth the look. It has the same lifetime warranty as their luggage, which I've heard is just about the best available

For the steam deck and 13 incher, check out the Osprey Daylite. If you intend to carry the 17", the Nebula is also worth looking at. The only laptop backpack I've found that is more comfortable, without being mostly hideous, was a Briggs and Riley that costs like 3x as much.

Camber USA stockists in NY?
Unfortunately, it's also the only place I know of. In the past, a few of the more boutique streetwear places like Opening Ceremony might have had that, but covid knocked most of them out

Yeah, it's a solid hour on the train to get there.

I assume the place in Harriman is the one you found?

Shoes w/ linen striped pants
Penny loafers would work. Huaraches could go hard.

Evaluating seersucker suit options
I love the idea of a Haspel suit, but I've never been able to rectify the price with how (in)frequently I'd be able to wear it. I'd pull the trigger on the J.W. Bell.

Is my style drifting towards conservative without me noticing?
It's not just this guy, I've seen a bunch of articles in the last year about the "old money" "conservative" trend. It's the new "dark academia" and I'm pretty sure it has not very much to do with political conservatism. It's more like the weird trad wife culture on social media. But I'm a mid 30s boomer and don't understand any of this, you kids go off I guess

Studio suits? Or alternative
I can't seem to find a way to change the currency but I'm seeing 698 USD, since they're a Canadian brand I assume the price might be cheaper without the conversion

Yep, it would be a second pair. The trousers tend to wear through before the jacket and it can be hard to get a matching pair years down the line. And yes, you would need to get a tie/shirt. Are you in Canada?

Just making sure you know this, but the suit comes with a pair of trousers. The recommended pair would be a spare in case the included pair start to wear out. Even at $700 USD for the suit, it's still on the high side for Spier.

Please help my ugly ass pick sunglasses (reasons why a certain pair work appreciated)
I actually really like that 3 aren't so much "the uniform" and that they fit your face very well.

This is the first time I've seen it, and I think it was a recent addition. Their customer service is pretty good, might be worth reaching out. I'd assume they'd rotate it out toward the end of spring.

I feel like I've only ever seen it done by people who are desperate for you to see their hype watch.
