I feel like I've only ever seen it done by people who are desperate for you to see their hype watch.
Well yeah thats fair i will look like im trying too hard to show the watch
imo gianni agnelli pulls it off because his personal style largely involves subverting traditional "rules" of wearing traditional clothing - boots with suits, necktie with the thin blade in front, etc.
