For anyone finding this post, recommend switching to windowed immediately before saving your world, as the fullscreen window when it hangs will cover anything on your monitor

Left the game running for about 10 minutes paused and when I hit save, it stalled for about 20 seconds but then hit the title screen

Just had this same issue again and I can report two things.
a. It can still happen even if you have rendering disabled.
b. If you do decided to close when the pop up says it's not responding, it seems to still save everything as it was when you clicked save.

I'm not current using shaders bc I couldn't tell if it was something breaking with DH or I just didn't like the shaders.. but this overdraw issues doesn't sound like something I've seen

Also, I dont have an SS of this, but DH render isn't being affected by the underwater screen effect, so I can see the DH in the distance like looking through air
bot didn't like that I put an a before SS 🙄
