also on single player it’s the same issue except you have both the lag from generating them and from rendering them

i’m convinced this happens bc the client is busy so it cant process LOD changes.
happens to me with TP and without if my client is asking the server to generate chunks

i’ve had this issue, maybe try disabling generating chunks (feature might only be in the new nightly builds) so that the server isn’t sending you new LODs and your CPU can focus on updating them
