Desktop mode broken and unable to rebase

Immediately after installing the latest bazzite update from the 4th Plasma stoped working I tried rebasing with

 bazzite-rollback-helper  rollback stable-41.20241030

 bazzite-rollback-helper  rollback stable-41.20241030

But after rebooting it still shows
stable-41.20241104 I tried rpm-reset to remove all layered packages but when I reboot my layered packages are still there rpm-status shows 2 deployments one with all the packages layered and one without. I tried switching between the deployments and I eventually got it to boot without any layered packages but I still can't roll back to the 30th https://discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1087140957096517672/1303532763550580758

How to disable steam game mode auto sleep

I'm am running the deck image on a PC and while in steam game mode the system suspendeds after a while of idling even while in a game. How do I disable this behavior?

teamviewer (distrobox)

I got the fedora rpm for teamviewer here https://www.teamviewer.com/en-us/download/linux/ and installed it with box buddys install rpm option, but i can get it to launch. I tried running from a terminal and got

6700xt low vram clock

So randomly(usually after idling in the steam Ui) My vram clock get locked at 675. I can start a game and the vram will still clock at 675 causing really bad performance until I reboot my PC. Any ideas? I tried setting the performance mode to max clock in lact with no luck

Internet connectivity on a windows VM

As the title says how can i get internet accses on a libvirt virtual machine running windows? the strange thing is this WAS working oottb before but stopped after an update or something I can see the network adapter from the windows VM and it even has an ip adress but no internet connectivity

Vivaldi in gamemode

Vivaldi uses KDE wallet to lock its profile. The problem is in gamemode I don't think KDE wallet is running so you get this error. Kinda related to https://discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1285004441023418443

Reboot into a specific session (gamemode/KDE)

I know if can use ujust _toggle-autologin To toogle between KDE and steam game mode. But is there anyway to do this for a single boot? Like I want my next boot to be to KDE but everything after that steam game mode.

decky v3 not working correctly

As mentioned in this thread of replies https://discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1087140957096517672/1283955119565705279 Decky v3 seems to not work on bazzite deck stable I was able to fix the bootlooping by wiping and reinstalling decky again. But now decky does not load in game mode. It only loads when using steam big picture in desktop mode I have tried both the pre release of decky and the stable and I am using the latest stable steam client

HDMI display port adapters no longer work in steam gamemode (desktop works fine)

my tv shows a black screen whenever trying to accses steam game mode. I think it maybe the resolution steam is trying to run out. Is there anyway to force steam to run at a certain resolution or force a "safe mode"? I noticed on my deck that in display settings there is an option for a "safe mode" but I can't accses it on my pc because I get no output and the option dosn't seem to be available on the desktop Sys info: https://paste.centos.org/view/1b982d0c

auto start solaar installed from pip

how ever I can't get solaar to auto start with kde I tried adding the app menu shortcut to my auto start but it doesn't work. I'm guessing because its installed through pip? I need the pip version because of this issue https://github.com/pwr-Solaar/Solaar/issues/2578

Black screen in desktop mode deck

after updating recenctly I noticed that desktop mode just shows a black screen (no cursor or anything) on my deck's screen if I connect an external monitor everything displays fine there but the decks screen stays black

PATH problems with hombrew

I am having several PATH problems with my bazzite install on my desktop PC first sometimes brew packages are randomly not found for example I have the bazzite-cli bling enabled and running cat gives

but i get this if I try to install bat

External displays do not work on deck with bazzite

I have setup bazzite on my 512GB LCD steam deck and everything beed working except I can't connect it to an external display. I tried the same dock I used on steamos (it was a laptop dock) and the usb ports are reconized but not the HDMI ports. went into the desktop and ran kscreen-doctor -o and it only showed the built in display it is not detecting any external displays
