Must go-to shops in Malta!
The old capital of Mdina is a must imo, especially if it's your first visit (it's on most tourist itineraries too). Rabat is the town just outside of it, it's walking distance
Marsascala can be axed unless you're after something specific like the coastline there

SEFFARRUGIA in Rabat (mostly silk accessories)
THE VINTAGE COLLECTION in Valletta (small, but the best well curated thrift store here)

I think having a core "identity" that has some sort of stylistic consistency is cool
But at the same time some days I just feel like wearing chunky sneakers, a hoodie and sweatpants ya know
I'm also lucky in a sense, because basically I can wear whatever I want to work, and as long as I look presentable nobody really cares. That also frees me from having to deal with the nightmare that is a separate work wardrobe

Depends on season, but to put a label on it, I'd classify it as "lazy luxury".
In summer it's very Umit/Haider/retro druglord vibes. White/off white as a neutral base. A lot more colour as well.
In winter it's predominantly olives and blacks, but the style leans more on the military side (often with sleek combat boots and tapered pants). Again, Umit and Haider as a stylistic reference, but more on the Haider side. In winter the silhouette tends to be more tapered than the wider fits of summer.
I've been trying to use more colours in the winter months, which I want to keep experimenting with. A few years ago I used to wear exclusively black/white/grey in winter, so I'd say it's been a successful experiment so far.

1. context - what am i doing and where am i going? what kind of people?
2. what do i feel like wearing? what's the vibe i wanna put out?
3. recent cop bias - i recently got X, is it time for its maiden voyage/test drive?
