Any there any plugins that provide protection against coordinate exploits?
I’ve got an SMP. I believe I’m having some issues with a coordinate exploiter. With it being a new server, it’s relatively easy to do things like “chunk tracing.”
I’m looking for an ideas to provide at least some protection against coordinate exploits. Thanks.
I’m running the latest stable version (1.21.3) of PaperMC.

VPN Split Tunneling
So here's my setup:
My current internet connection doesn't allow me to port forward, so I got a VPS and put a VPN (WireGuard) on it. I'm running my Minecraft server on my PC (it's got great specs for server). For now, I'm also using it as my daily driver PC, though this may change.
My VPS host gives me a limited amount of included bandwidth. It's not a small amount to be sure, but I don't want to chew it up watching YouTube. At the same time, it's necessary to run my server.
That being said, here's my issue:
I want all my Minecraft server (running Windows 10) traffic to be routed through my VPN (WireGuard), but I the rest of my PCs traffic to use my normal internet connection. I've tried several things with no success. Any ideas?

How do I use CloudFlare nameservers?
I'm in a bit of a bind.
I recently registered a new domain with CloudFlare. At the time, I didn't know that CloudFlare forced its free users to use their nameservers. I can't transfer my domain to a different registrar because of the 60-day restriction.
There are a number of things that I'd like to do, but I'm not sure what is and isn't possible. Chief among these is to self-host a DNS server. I'm also using DigitalOcean to host some services, and I'd like to point my domain to their nameservers if I don't end up creating my own DNS server.
Complicating all this, while CloudFlare doesn't allow me to change nameservers, I am able to add
NS
records to my domain. I'm not really sure what this does, and how it is different from the nameservers CloudFlare has my domain locked into.
Thanks for any help.16 replies
