Bazzite goes to sleep while I'm in a discord voice call
Bazzite keeps dimming the screen, locking, and going to sleep while I'm in a voice call. I don't want it to. It should be able to count the microphone as a user input, or count as constantly active when connected to voice. Ideally I'd like this to apply to any teleconferencing apps such as Zoom or Teams so that this can be avoided during work meetings and interviews too.

Keyboard double typing
I have a new keyboard that double types letters sometimes. One key press, two letters input. Does Bazzite have a software fix? I've checked the keyboard settings, but the key repeat settings only apply to holding down the key, not two registered key presses.

Visual Studio Code can't see .NET SDK
Visual Studio Code is reporting an error detecting the .NET SDK, which is installed and on the system path. VSC's path is missing items from the system path as well.

KDE Bazzite keeps freezing
I'm using KDE Bazzite and the system keeps freezing. It seems to be more likely to happen when the CPU is under load, such as while gaming or when switching windows. But it can also happen rarely while doing low-CPU tasks. It also seems to happen in bursts, with some times it happens a lot and some times it doesn't happen for days, although that could be anything. Sometimes it just stutters for a bit, but when it properly freezes, I can leave it for an hour and it won't go again unless I hard reset the system. Just an hour or so ago it happened when I switched windows into Warframe to play with My partners. I hard reset, loaded the game up again, and the system froze on launch. Had to boot to Windows instead out of fear it would happen a third time.

Extreme Focus Stealing Prevention doesn't prevent windows from jumping to front
I'm using KDE and have focus stealing prevention set to "extreme". According to the documentation, this means "All windows must be explicitly activated by the user." However, Warframe is still capable of jumping to the front of the screen while I'm tabbed out. I don't think Warframe is actually stealing focus, it's just displaying itself in front of what I tabbed out to see. Is there another setting that deals with this sort of behaviour? I couldn't find anything in Window Management.

Installing .net (dotnet) on Bazzite
According to VS Code, I need to install the .NET SDK so I can build a C# program. I'm still not sure what "atomic" means, but I'm getting the vibe that I can't just use the scripted Linux installer from Microsoft's website. Do I need to use distrobox or something?

Steam won't remember any library changes
Ever since that one time Steam spent 10 minutes trying to shut down and I just restarted the computer, it won't remember changes to My library. It won't remember that I removed the NTFS library, it won't remember the games I installed locally. The games are there, Steam just doesn't know it and has to be told and then verify them.
I've already restarted both Steam and Bazzite several times, including shutting it down and turning it on manually. I also tried
ujust fix-reset-steam and it didn't do anything but log Me out. The NTFS drive is still configured and won't unconfigure. Steam also goes to the Features Store page every time it turns on instead of to My library, but I can't remember whether that's supposed to happen or not so might not be relevant.
I would like to know if there are any more thorough ways to fix or reset the Steam install.8 replies

The mods were right
I checked, and you were more right than you thought. It's not exactly the same, Steam on Windows doesn't even let you create additional libraries on the same drive anymore. The functionality is compromised on Linux, but Windows doesn't even let you try. And it does say "drive" instead of "library". You guys were right, Steam on Windows sucks even worse these days

Can't add steam libraries through GUI
When I go into Steam's settings and add a library, it has no effect. I click on the library in the file browser, press Okay, and it goes back to Steam with the library not installed. It seems to have no effect whether I choose a location on the local disk or on another drive. How do I add steam libraries?
