Hotend seems to be running hotter than reported
I ran another PID tune after reseating the thermistor cartridge with the boron nitride paste and it seems back to normal. I'm not sure if I wiggled a wire back into place or if the better thermal conductivity fixed it.

I put some boron nitride paste on the thermistor cartridge to see if that will help.

Yeah I've checked the wiring, all is fine. Even switched to using a different sensor header.

Just checked the belt tension and they don't feel tight at all. Not loose but there's not really any audible pitch if I pluck them.

Thanks. I'll check the tensions. Also I don't think there's much z wobble at all (that's what causes z banding right?). I'm thinking it's mainly VFAs.

That makes sense, but how can we explain the regular calibration cube looking the same as in the original images even when printed at 215c @ 13 mm/s?
