One other little note in case it's not obvious - if you're gotten them wet with for example rain or sweat you should be extra cautious the first few washes, and I wouldn't risk sitting on furniture

Thoughts on Barefoot Shoes?
My two go-to's are a camper peu with the insole swapped for a flat thin insole, and duckfeet shoes that I have cut the heel off to make flat. Both of these look fine if unextraordinary
The kind of shoes in your op picture are pretty much never going to look good but if they're more comfortable for you then go for it, with the biggest caveat being don't run in them unless you know what you're doing

speaking purely from a fashion perspective, if you aren't into gorp or athletic-wear there aren't many times that a barefoot shoe isn't going to feel like a big compromise.

barefoot shoes are basically 4 different aspects of a shoe:
1. zero drop from the heel to the toe
2. wide through the toebox to let your toes splay out
3. a thin and bendable sole
4. a flat insole with no targeted support
Personally I need 1 and 4 in a shoe to not have extreme pain, and 2 is a nice bonus.

yeah they do ship to australia but the shipping is quite high, and combined with their unreliable measurements its always sketched me out enough to not bother. I assume womens cdg wouldn't have the sizes I want but cdgh might have stuff?
