Favourite women’s designers?
In the mood because of int womens day but what is your favourite female designer, is there a particular runway that stood out to you? Is there a niche they fill?
Im a huge fan of rei, chitose, wales bonner and jil sander but want to see if theres anyone i dont have on my radar

Feng chen wang
Liushu Lei and Yutong Jiang from ShuShu/Tong
big Margaret Howell fan, nothing especially groundbreaking or runway esque but always just nice clothes that I like
i LOVE the anya hindmarch eyes motif and her other stuff is also quite fun
most of the women designers i know about tend to make very quirky stuff, like penelope gazin (fashion brand company), samantha pleet, rachel antonoff — i don’t actually own a lot from them but it’s fun to look at and talk about it
oh also the matoshi sisters(lirika and teuta) had everybody in a chokehold for a year
fashion brand company in particular made this black version of their cheese pants that i should have just bought 🙈

I‘ve always felt like Shushu/Tong captures the feeling of girlhood in a very accurate way, at least for me
I technically bought sth from them as well but the package got lost and they were super rude to me about it:nooooo:
