how do you style sweatpants?
at least in a way that doesn’t say “i really could care less about fashion.” it hit me like a truck when i was dressing for comfort in the airport the day i flew back home from atlanta, what the lady at the reception desk at my hotel said when i was checking out, how i suddenly looked “normal.” i knew she didn’t mean it like an insult but it stuck with me so much because i knew how often it is that athleisure devolves into sweatpants-t-shirt-runners and it kind of made me feel like what tiny attempt i’d made to actually style my pants had completely died in the water. this was after spending all week dressing like my #waywt greatest hits, so she knew i have a sense of what makes me me.
y’all know me well enough by now i think. i angle for the skater and the rocker vibes, with a touch of gorp and a fistful of whimsy. if i need to post my particular pair i can, just holler.

I remember a period of a bucnh of ppl here doing slouchy ivy top half with sweatpants and new balance bottoms
But I think that has to be pretty deliberate and doesnt match what youve mentioned
Entire Studios would be a good look for inspo, using sweatpant material for interesting sillhouettes is their whole vibe
merely made is great sweatpants inspo for me personally
but for ur specific vibe i think youd get a lot out of magazines like Fruits
