Non Binary+Trans Shopping in NYC
Hello tiny good dressers who live in my phone.
As some of you may know, I (a trans man) am getting my first real award since elementary school for achievements in running. The awards night is at the end of the month. I'm working on an outfit that is queer/expressive and somewhat glam or at the very least clean looking. I'm planning on going to Nepenthes for myself because EG fits my body pretty well. I currently have some wide wool pleated trousers picked out and my natty CXL Indy boots. I'm thinking about a shirt with a collar pin/chain(?) and the EG zip jacket. Not sure what is out there for my build (5'5 170lbs, carry weight on my stomach/harrow shoulders).
I have a friend who will be part of the awards night and is non binary. They are very fem, lean/muscular and tall. I think they would like a lot of the stuff at Dover Street Market. I'm looking to help them have a gender affirming shopping experience. This could mean things like "women's clothes" that are made for somebody who is over 6 foot, skirts with pockets, shiny things. What other places may have a similar vibe to what I'm describing in NYC?

W2C Wide Pleated Trousers
Looking to buy wide/relaxed or a wide taper trouser with pleats or reverse pleats in NYC. Budget -$200 I'm open to buying online but getting the fit right with my body is hard so I prefer in person. High rise too.
If the budget is too low for what I'm looking for let me know what might be a good fit in a slightly higher budget. Open to chinos that are cut similarly.

Shoes for Rainy Days
Moved to NYC proper from a more suburban area almost a year ago. Lately it's been a lot of rain which is rough since I don't have the right footwear.
Looking to try something on in person. I don't need to buy right away but I'd like to get something within a month or so. I want something that's going to keep my feet dry if I step in puddles, nothing too deep. I was thinking about duck boots or something similar, I've tried vans MTE and they're okay but would need insoles.
Something casual but not wellies or blundstones (slip on style shoes rarely fit me right). Budget of under $200 prefer under $150. I'm a size 6.5 in aldens, usually wear a 7.5 in sneakers.

What are some cool wallets under or around $100?
I like the look of the Loewe puzzle wallet, Kapital's thumbs up bone wallet, something colorful and a little playful. I have looked at fakes/replicas of the Loewe puzzle wallet and that seems like a good option for what I'd like to pay. What are some good, colorful, fun wallets for around $100?

Luggage Recs
Not exactly MFA but close enough. I don't own any luggage at all. I haven't traveled far in about 20 years but will be going in a week long vacation soon. I think I'll be fine with just a carry on and a backpack. Any suggestions for a hardshell carry on? I saw the 37L ones at Muji and thought they looked good but they're $200. I just don't know how much these things cost. NYC area ++ since I'm leaving in a week.
I'm not flying for this trip but hope to fly within the next year or so.

W2C shoulder vest
Something like the EG shoulder vest but that I can get within a week and is less expensive. I'm going on a trip and want something small/light weight to carry a phone and wallet. Not opposed to a crossbody bag but would prefer something more unique.

swimwear/pool lounging
For those of you who go to the beach or pool what do you wear to swim or chill at the beach or pool?
I looked at Saturdays NYC for a bit but their trunks were too long for my liking.
I recently found out about Kaftko and bought a kaftan and matching swim brief (it's for a special kind of beach trip). I've thought about just wearing baggies to the pool with a rash guard because I'm very pale and already have baggies.

Umbrellas for City Life
I'm in NYC, last weekend it rained and my umbrella broke when trying to close it. It's raining today and all I've got is a Uniqlo pocketable UV protection parka. Basically a very thin windbreaker with a hood and water resistant coating.
Looking for an umbrella (or alternatives) for under or around $50. Saw some cool ones available at MoMa Design Store like the duckhead umbrella (autocorrect changed it to dickhead).
