Lead Screw Screeching (Vcore4 IDEX)
Sorry to revive an old thread - but in case anyone comes across this searching; I had the same issue, but mine was due to a binding bearing on the rear (Z1) lead screw. I unscrewed the M6 bolt holding the lead screw retainer in place, made sure the bearing was moving smoothly around the lead screw and then fixed it back into place. After that, no screeching!

Vcore-4 layer shift (new printer)
Yes, I double-checked that. I actually seem to have solved it, but made the time-old error of changing multiple things at the same time so now I don't know which it was:
- bed temp (first layer) up to 68C
- slowed acceleration down
- set print head speed to 80%
Now I need to undo those one at a time until the issue comes back then I'll know which. If it's the bed heat, then it's adhesion. If it's the speed then it's likely a slipping belt/pulley

Vcore-4 layer shift (new printer)
Thanks! When I built the printer, the pulleys would only fit onto the stepper shafts one way; I couldn't rotate them and make them fit and, once they were seated, they wouldn't rotate either. From memory, at least one grub screw was on a flat surface though (my pulleys have two grub screws). I did check though and they're all tight

Beacon calibration failing during comissioning
Figured it out, there was a tiny bit of "stuff" (not sure what it was) stuck to the build plate and that was throwing off the beacon. Scraped it off and passed with flying colors!
