Haha. There is always a brand that’s threatening to remove 1 from my list. It’s a healthy competition. I really surprised myself last year. I was so close to going down the EK rabbit hole and just turned on a dime and recalibrated and moved on.

I wear mostly Kaptain sunshine and Sage de cret. That probably leans a little too workwear to be labeled as fake quiet luxury, but who knows with these gen Z kids and their names for everything. Lol

Basic in NW NJ would be a hoodie with a random landscaping company on it, joggers, and boots. My idea of basic is Namu shop. I’m not sure what’s happening out there anymore.

The municipal is longer (sleeve and length) and IMO is a great traditional boxy fit. Haven’t tried EK tee yet but have 2 of the hoodies.

I don’t think I’d call them thick but they’re definitely substantial and hold their exact shape after beating the hell out of them for months. I’ve never owned tees that washed this well over and over. It’s definitely thick enough that you can’t stretch them out.

They are a bit short but some people want that. They wash amazing. I’ve washed mine about 30 times (no dryer) and they still look new. They have a dry hand.
