wearing a regular button down unbuttoned/as a shirt jacket

I’m gen X and always wore shirts/flannels that way. Very rarely would I wear it buttoned up. Someone referred to the look as “90’s coded” but I don’t really know what that means or if it’s good or bad. Ha! I would only wear it buttoned if you’re tucking it in. Chambray? Definitely open with a white tee underneath.

How often do you wash your clothes?

I haven’t worn my sweaters enough to even consider washing and I’d prefer to keep it that way. Everything else gets delicate cold/hung dry. 1 small load/week.

I guess it depends what your basics were and when you bought them. All of mine were Spier & MacKay and that stuff flew on ebay for what i paid during the pandemic. I replaced it all with very similar stuff just better quality and adjusted fit. I don’t know what happens next.

They’re gonna be short on you. I’m 5-11 and they’re just a tiny bit cropped for me and I wear pants pretty low on the hip. The EK/Orslow look a lot longer so they’d be good.

I kinda do it in segments. Like this fall I’m focusing on sweaters and cardigans and next fall I plan to pick up a few jackets. I try to stick to nice basics. I was being seduced by the EK cult but I decided to take a step back from ultra-trendy stuff. I buy 2-3 garments per month and usually pull the trigger as soon as it’s dropped from my favorite brands to the states. I’m so lazy about going to the post office when I sell so I’ve become much more careful.

Paraboot Reims Sizing? US 11.5

I’m guessing but I think you need a UK10. Half size big I hear. Others will probably chime in. I’ve read that those are a tough fit.
